Valued Mason Pond Deck Parking Permit Holders,

For the time period of December 27, 2010, through January 14, 2011, between the hours of 6 P.M. and 6 A.M. each night, all Mason Pond Parking Deck permit holders will have to enter/exit the Mason Pond Parking Deck through the level 1 entrance off of Mason Pond Drive.  This is due to the invasive construction work which will take place along Aquia Creek Lane.  If you plan on entering or exiting the Mason Pond Parking Deck between 6 P.M. at night and 6 A.M. in the morning, you will be required to pull a ticket at the level 1 entrance off of Mason Pond Drive and then proceed up the ramps to level 3 to gain access to the reserved permit levels (there are no longer active access readers at the level 1 entry lanes to the Mason Pond Parking Deck).  Please insert your ticket into the ticket reader located at the top of the ramp leading up to level 3 to proceed to your reserved area within the Mason Pond Parking Deck.  When leaving Mason Pond, you will need to pull a ticket at the top of the ramp on level 3 that leads to the visitor area and present it to one of the cashiers located on the first level to exit.
Your Mason Pond parking permit does not allow for parking on the visitor levels of the Mason Pond Parking Deck.  You will need to exit the visitor area and enter the reserved permit holder’s area on levels 3, 4 and 5 within 20 minutes to avoid incurring additional charges when leaving the visitor area.  The same time restriction is in effect when driving through the visitor area to exit the parking deck through level 1 – Mason Pond Drive.
The Parking Services Office will provide you with updates as we receive them.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at parking@gmu.edu.
