Student Permits Available for Mason Pond, Sandy Creek, and Rappahannock River Parking Decks

Attention all George Mason Students,

Based on the number of spaces still available in the parking decks on campus, the Parking Services Office is excited to announce that we will be able to sell a limited number of Mason Pond, Sandy Creek and Rappahannock River parking permits to students for the 2010 Spring semester.  Students who purchase or upgrade to a Mason Pond reserved parking permit will be required to park on the roof (level 5).  If you are a freshmen resident, we still have upgrades available for the Rappahannock River Parking Deck only.

There is a $25 refundable deposit that is required for the access device that will allow you to enter/exit the reserved levels of the parking decks.  If you are switching from one parking deck to another, simply bring in your current access device along with your permit so that we can exchange out both as each parking deck requires its own unique electronic access device.

We will begin processing upgrades, exchanges and sales of these permits on Monday, January 26, 2010.  In order to obtain one of these permits, you must do so in person at the Fairfax Parking Services Office next to the Sandy Creek Parking Deck.  We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
