RULES AND REGULATIONS
Surface Lot reserved spaces are enforced seven days a week 24
hours
Permits can only be issued by the GMU Parking Services Office.
Payment must accompany application. Please make checks payable to George
Mason University Parking Services.
Surface Reserved permits are valid in designated parking spaces,
in load/unload zones (for 30 minutes with emergency lights flashing) and in
student and general lots. Surface Reserved permits may NOT be used in
Service & Repair spaces.
Surface Reserved permits are not valid in areas posted “No
Parking,” on crosswalks, sidewalks, fire/emergency lanes, yellow curbs,
landscaped/barricaded areas, within 15 feet of fire hydrants, blocking trash
dumpsters, parking in or blocking handicapped or other reserved spaces, or at
meter/deck without paying.
